About the shop

The place where something is always new.

More than three decades keeping engraving machines running — from the newest laser system to a manual New Hermes that has been earning its keep since before most of its parts went out of production.

What we do

Three businesses,
one workshop.

Quality One Engravers supplies the parts, sells and retrofits the machines, and runs the engraving work itself. That combination is unusual, and it is the reason we can identify a component from a photograph and tell you whether it is worth replacing.

  • Parts & supplies — over seventy categories covering spindles, cutters, bearings, belts, nose assemblies, electrical and mechanical components.
  • Machines — used rotary engravers, Quest routers and Q1E controller retrofits that modernise a mechanically sound machine.
  • Contract engraving — rotary, laser and braille production for shops that need overflow capacity.

Machines we support

Brands other suppliers
stopped stocking.

A machine going out of production does not mean it should go to scrap. We hold parts for equipment that has not been manufactured in years.

New Hermes / Gravograph

IS200 Unica, IS400, NHI 810, Vanguard 1000 through 9000, Concept 2000 and the manual engravers — common parts and model-specific components.

Dahlgren

System 1 and Wizzard parts, including the mechanical assemblies that are hardest to source elsewhere.

Quest

Quest engravers and Quest routers, with used machines and retrofits available alongside spares.

Vision, Xenetech, Roland

Engraver parts for Vision and Xenetech systems, plus Roland EGX components and vinyl plotter supplies.

HSquare & Western

Q1E controllers

Our own Q1E, Q3D, Q3E and Q3X controller families — boards, harnesses, drives and full retrofit kits.

Laser systems

Lenses, mirrors, consumables and paint-fill products for laser engraving and marking work.

Braille & ADA

Raster beads, insertion tooling and the Quill Touch resin braille printing system for ADA signage.

How we work

Talk to someone
who has held the part.

1 — Describe it

Model number if you have it. A photo if you do not. The symptom if you have neither.

2 — We identify it

We confirm the part, what supersedes it, and whether the repair is worth doing on that machine.

3 — It ships

Priced, packed and on its way — or scheduled into the shop if it is a job rather than a part.

Next step

Tell us the machine.

Model, symptom, or a photo of the worn part — whatever you have is enough to start.
