Contract engraving & service

Too big. Too difficult. Send it here.

“Do you have a job too big, too difficult or a delivery you cannot fulfill? We can help you.” Hand off the run you cannot take — and keep the customer.

What we take on

Four ways the shop
works for you.

Overflow & oversized engraving

Rotary, laser and braille production on plates and parts that will not fit — or will not fixture — on your own table. Trade-friendly: your customer stays yours.

Machine repair & parts identification

Send a photo of the worn component. We confirm what it is, what replaced it, and whether the repair is worth making on that machine.

Q3E controller retrofits

A mechanically sound engraver with a dead controller is not scrap. Our Q1E, Q3D, Q3E and Q3X kits put a modern PC-driven brain into the machine you already own.

Braille & ADA signage

Raster bead insertion and the Quill Touch resin braille system for compliant ADA signage, produced to spec.

A range of Quest engraving machines and routers. Retrofits available
Machines & retrofits

Buy the machine,
or modernise the one
you have.

We sell used rotary engravers and Quest routers, and we retrofit existing machines with current controllers. Both routes cost a fraction of buying new, and both come from people who will still answer the phone in five years.

  • Used Vanguard, Xenetech, Quest and IS-series engravers
  • Q1E / Q3D / Q3E / Q3X controller kits and boards
  • Cutter sharpening parts, collets and grinder components
  • Coolant recovery, chip removal and table fixturing
Common questions

Before you call.

My machine is twenty years old. Can you still get parts?

Usually, yes. We hold components for New Hermes, Dahlgren, Vanguard and other lines that have long since gone out of production — that is a large part of what we do.

I do not know the part number.

You do not need it. Send a photograph of the part, or tell us the machine model and what it is doing wrong, and we will work it out from there.

Will you deal directly with my customer?

Only if you want us to. Contract work is trade-friendly — the job comes back to you to deliver.

Do you engrave braille and ADA signage?

Yes. Raster bead insertion and the Quill Touch resin braille printing system are both run in-house.

Next step

Tell us the machine.

Model, symptom, or a photo of the worn part — whatever you have is enough to start.
